ZAKAT AL-FITR and HOW MUCH GIVEN!

WHAT IS ZAKAT AL FITR? Zakat Al Fitr is a donation to charity given on the last day of Ramadan or before the Eid-El Fitr Prayers. All Muslims are obliged to give to the poor at Eid al-Fitr, young and old, male and female. They must also give to the poor before the Eid prayer, Salat which is said together in a Mosque before the Eid celebrations. Muslims can give Zakat, which is help from the rich to the poor, one or two days before the Eid prayer, but not after. If you give it before the prayer it is considered Zakat al-Fitr and if you give it after the Eid prayer it is considered ordinary charity . Zakat......The Third Pillar Of Islam

Zakat Zakat is the compulsory giving of a set proportion of one's wealth to charity. It is regarded as a type of worship and of self-purification. The literal meaning of the Za...

False Accusation/Suspicion

False Accusation/Suspicion False accusation is worse than backbiting. It is to falsely attribute a deficiency or an offence to a believing person. It is certain that this transgression is the most wicked of attacks upon the prestige of a believer. Allah the Most High said:  “And whoever commits a fault or a sin, then accuses of it one innocent, he indeed takes upon himself the burden of a calumny and a manifest sin.” He also said:  “Surely (as for) those who speak evil of Allah and His Apostle, Allah has cursed them in this world and the hereafter, and He has prepared for them a chastisement bringing disgrace.” The Holy Prophet Muhammad (S) said:  “Backbiting is speaking about your brother what he does not like to be mentioned.”  And he added:  “Know that if you mention what is actually in him, this is backbiting; and if you mention what is not actually in him, this is a false accusation.” Imam Ja’far al-Sadiq (a.s.) said:  “Backbiting is sayin...

Salat is given the highest priority in the Holy Quran. There are many benefits of Salat described in the Book of Allah. It says, innassalata tanha anil fahsha’i , Surely Prayer restrains one from indecency. (29:46) In chapter Luqman, We read that when Hadhrat Luqman was giving advice to his son, the first and foremost on his mind was to remind his son, ya bunayya aqimissalat “O my dear son,! observe Prayer.” (31:8) According to a Hadith the Prophet of Islam (peace be upon him) is reported to have said, inna fissalati shifa’a ” verily there is cure in salat “. According to a Muslim scholar, as reported in monthly Urdu magazine, Tahazibul Akhlaq , Aligarh, India, a Muslim who offers salat regularly has very little chance of getting arthritis as we exercise our bones and joints while we offer salat. In the light of this...
