False Accusation/Suspicion

False Accusation/Suspicion False accusation is worse than backbiting. It is to falsely attribute a deficiency or an offence to a believing person. It is certain that this transgression is the most wicked of attacks upon the prestige of a believer. Allah the Most High said:  “And whoever commits a fault or a sin, then accuses of it one innocent, he indeed takes upon himself the burden of a calumny and a manifest sin.” He also said:  “Surely (as for) those who speak evil of Allah and His Apostle, Allah has cursed them in this world and the hereafter, and He has prepared for them a chastisement bringing disgrace.” The Holy Prophet Muhammad (S) said:  “Backbiting is speaking about your brother what he does not like to be mentioned.”  And he added:  “Know that if you mention what is actually in him, this is backbiting; and if you mention what is not actually in him, this is a false accusation.” Imam Ja’far al-Sadiq (a.s.) said:  “Backbiting is sayin...

ARABIC LANGUAGE IN ISLAM

Ninety percent of the world's Muslims do not speak Arabic as their native language. Yet in daily prayers, when reading the  Qur'an , or even in simple conversations with each other, Arabic rolls off any Muslim's tongue readily. It may be broken or heavily accented, but most Muslims make the attempt to speak and understand at least some Arabic. Regardless of their linguistic, cultural, and racial differences, Muslims form one community of believers. This community is based on their shared faith in One Almighty God, and the guidance He has sent down to mankind. His final revelation to mankind, the Qur'an, was sent over 1400 years ago in the  Arabic language . Arabic thus serves as a common language among this diverse community of believers. The original Arabic text of the Qur'an has been preserved from the time of its revelation. Translations have been done into various languages, but they all refer back to the original Arabic. In order to fully unders...

Islam....meaning in brief

Image
Islam , major world religion promulgated by   Prophet Muhammad in Arabia in the 7th century . The Arabic term islām , literally “surrender,” illuminates the fundamental religious idea of Islam —that the believer (called a Muslim, from the active particle of islām ) accepts surrender to the will of Allah.   Allah is  the sole God—creator, sustainer, and restorer of the world. The will of Allah, to which human beings must submit, is made known through the sacred scriptures, the Qurʾān , which Allah revealed to his messenger, Prophet   Muhammad (Peace and blessings of Allah be upon him). In Islam Prophet Muhammad is considered the last of a series of prophets (including Prophet Adam, Prophet Nuhu (Noah), Prophet Ibrahi...
